Is my Rapid Hitch interfering with grounding of my trailer brake lights?

The Rapid Hitch does not work well for the grounding of your trailer lights due to a few things: 1 - The multiple moving parts cause loss of connection when going over bumps. 2 - The two different types of metal (aluminum and steel) 3 - The hitch will become somewhat looser in the receiver due to age.

We highly recommend your trailer wiring harness to be inspected and have the ground (white) wire connect the trailer to the tow vehicle and that should stop all the problems of the lights be intermittent.
